Sean Cavanaugh

Sean Cavanaugh is currently serving as a Board of Directors member for the Center for Medicare Advisory, and as an advisor to PatientPing and Omaha Health. Previously, Sean was the Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Medicare at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. He was responsible for running their $650 billion program that insures 57 million senior and disabled Americans. Before assuming his leadership role at Medicare, Sean was the Deputy Director for Programs and Policy in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.

Farzad Mostashari

Farzad Mostashari, MD, is the former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. In this role, he oversaw the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. He joined ONC in July 2009 and was appointed national coordinator in April 2011. In August 2013 he announced his resignation and officially stepped down from his role in October 2013.

Michael Barrett

Cecil Bennett, M.D.

Dr. Cecil F. Bennett Jr. grew up in Brooklyn New York.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, earning a degree in Biology. After working as a pharmaceutical representative with Merck and Geigy Pharmaceuticals, at the encouragement of a physician mentor from Morehouse School of Medicine, he applied and was accepted to Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Bennett became president of the Student Government Association during his fourth year in medical school. He also served on the Morehouse School of Medicine Board of Trustees.

Dan Duncanson

Daniel M. Duncanson, M.D., C.P.E. has over twenty years of experience as a practicing Internal Medicine/Primary Care physician, business owner and practice administrator. Chris Eakes

Chris Eakes is Director of Population Health, Health Information Exchange and Enterprise Integration for BayCare Health System, a not-for-profit integrated delivery system in the Tampa Bay region. In his current position, Mr. Eakes has oversight for population health, health information exchange and enterprise integration. Jeffrey Lin

Jeffrey Lin is currently a fourth-year medical student in the dual-degree M.D./M.P.H. program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Like most snowbirds, he is originally from New York City, and will be applying for family medicine residency programs in South Florida. He currently serves as the UM Student Director to the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, is a Certified Application Counselor for the ACA Healthcare Marketplace, and his current area of research is in the integration of behavioral health services into the primary care setting, in particular across ACO networks. Prior to starting medical school, he was an art director and strategist at various environmental and sustainability-minded advertising agencies, and will continue to use those skills as a public health physician in the future.

Richard Lucibella
CEO and Director, Accountable Care Options, LLC
Mr. Lucibella earned a Master in Health Science from Johns Hopkins and Master in Business Administration from the Wharton School. He began his career with the Health Care Financing Administration and was directly involved in the original Medicare HMO risk demonstrations. Mr. Lucibella has been active in South Florida Medicare risk and shared savings programs since the mid 1980’s. Dr. David Oliver, D.O.

Aaron Parsons
Project Manager, Agency for Healthcare Administration 
Aaron Parsons is a project manager with the Agency for Health Care Administration. He oversees outreach, operations, and policy development for the Event Notification Service offered by the Florida Health Information Exchange. During his time with the Agency, Aaron has been involved with a variety of health IT initiatives, including Meaningful Use, e-prescribing, and Direct. Derek Pauley
